Well, the weather is getting warm and the chickens are growing like mad. They were outgrowing their box, so we had to get going on the coop. We found some scrap wood behind a Buddhist printing press building and they let us take some for free! I think we only had to pay for the roof (from a salvage yard), and the aviary wire…with a grand total of less than 13 dollars to build! The Maltese Falcon and Dandylion seem to love their new home, but last night at dusk…the Falcon flew out of the doorway and landed on Matt’s head twice! She didn’t want to go home!
