My new series of paintings are based on proverbs, maxims, and aphorisms. The differences in these terms are slight yet significant, and if you are interested in pursuing knowledge on this matter read: The Wisdom of Many: Essays on the Proverb edited by Wolfgang Mieder & Alan Dundes. Because of my research interests in sideshows, circuses, science, curiosities, etc … you can expect to see cameos from various figures of the era.
