William Harrison served as President for only 2 months (March-April, 1841). He was thin and gaunt and was said to only eat certain foods, such as dairy products because they relieved his pains. Harrison was a Episcopalian, of the Whig party, and studied to become a doctor (but did not finish). Harrison gave the an exceedingly long two hour inaugural address in the cold, blistering, rain-and did not wear a hat. He contracted pneumonia and died in the White House one month later.
